Providing Telehealth for patients in Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.

  • Telehealth is the use of video and audio technologies to support long-distance services between Providers and their Clients.

  • Insurance coverage is available in network for Aetna insurance plans in the state of Florida and for out of network reimbursement for other insurance providers. Reimbursement varies for each insurance policy.

  • If you are using a Desktop or Laptop, we recommend:

    Google Chrome

    Mozilla Firefox

    Safari

If you are using a tablet or mobile phone, we recommend:

    Android - Google Chrome

iOS or newer (iPhone or iPad) - Safari

  • You’ll need the below to join a Telehealth (online therapy) Session with your Provider:

A computer, tablet, or phone (no applications or software to download).

    An external or integrated webcam.

    An external or integrated microphone.

An internet connection with a bandwidth of at least 10 MBPS. We recommend an Ethernet cable over Wifi when possible to ensure you receive the best possible connection through your internet provider.

Shut down all background applications to ensure Telehealth receives the majority of your internet’s bandwidth, especially applications that use your camera.

  • You do not have to download anything to securely join a Telehealth session. You will be able to join from you phone, tablet, and computer. The Telehealth session windows are fully responsive and will adapt to the screen size of your device.

How to attend your first virtual session

  • You will receive a unique Telehealth Session URL from your Therapist. If you do not have a link, contact our office at 352-900-3130 to retrieve the link.

  • It’s as simple as a click of a button!

How to Join from the URL via Appointment Reminder or Email.

Your Provider may send you the Telehealth Session Link via email or Appointment Reminder. Click on the URL, or copy and paste the URL you receive from your Provider into an internet browser window.

    To Join via Client Portal

If your Provider uses the Client Portal, access the Telehealth Session link in your Appointments tab. Find your Appointment and click Start Session.

    To Join via Secure Message

Login to your Client Portal account.

Click your Inbox in the header.

Find Secure Message with link to the session you need to join.

    Click on Link.

  • Your internet browser should prompt you to Allow camera and microphone access. This is a critical step! Otherwise, your provider will not be able to see or hear you in the session.

  • When you first join the session, you will be in the Virtual Waiting Room.

While you are in the Waiting Room:

Click Test my connection to ensure you have a strong internet connection and good video/audio connectivity.

Once the connection has been tested Click the “I'm Ready” button to begin the session. This will take you to the virtual waiting room where your provider will admit you into the session.

  • IMPORTANT: If you use Apple devices, please be aware of a new feature called Reactions that can interfere with the session. The update is automatically turned on after you update your device to the most recent software version: macOS 14 Sonoma & iOS 17 or later. Follow the steps below to turn the feature off.

    On Mac

    Click the FaceTime camera icon.

    Click Video Effects.

    Click Reactions to deselect.
